Hello Marilyn-
I studied Homeopathy under Richard Pitcairn from 1987 -1992. I spent several years studying "on my own" looking for a GOOD classical school as there are very few ones in the US. I have for the last 2 years continued my homeopathic studies with David Little in India who is presently considered the BEST classical homeopathic teacher in the world.
Unfortunately, because he is in India, there are no "degrees" offered, so. I am a consultant. I have had clinical experience and have successfully treated hundreds of animals. This of course, does not include my many years' experience as a breeder and that the fact that I have not vaccinated any of my animals since 1988.

Subject: Introduction
Hello everyone!
My name is Magda Aguila, I live in Greenville, South Carolina and have been breeding purebred dogs for over 30 years (that oughta give you an idea of how old I am!) I have been breeding Harlequin Great Danes and have not vaccinated for over 12 years. I am very proud to say that I am on my 5th generation of totally unvaccinated harles.
I am also a Homeopathic practitioner having study under Richard Pitcairn for a while and continuing my classical homeopathy training with David Little in India. I am very happy to see a group such as this, ready to educate and help those who make the smart choice of not vaccinating. I hope that my experience and knowledge can be of help to anyone on this list. On a no vaccine note, Sandra Brigola and I have been fortunate enough to be able to convince Dr. Larry Glickman who is in charge of the vaccine study which has been going on at Purdue University for about three years, to include Danes in the study. Right now we are in the process of locating all the totally unvaccinated Danes and once we have a count, Dr. Glickman will be preparing protocols, budget, etc. Sandra and I feel that this is tremendously important project. It will finally give validation to all of us who have been pasionally advocating no vaccines!
Glad to be here!

Dear Magda,
I hope this finds you well. It has been brought to my attention that you are advertising yourself as a homeopathic
prescriber for animals. In addition, that you have trained "under me from 1987-1992", this last taken from one of your email messages to Marilyn Day. I would like to comment that this is not an accurate reflection of our relationship. It is correct that you attended a couple of 3 or 4 day seminars with me and for some time was a client working on specific animals. However, it is entirely misleading to say that you studied under me, esp. for the length of time you indicate. I do not approve or support the practice of veterinary homeopathy by lay people and this communication from you to the public misrepresents my position on this. I am asking that you let me know that you will stop saying this. I hope we can resolve this amicably. Please let me hear from you.
Sincerely Dr. Pitcairn
Can I make this more clear than to say that I do not support the practice of lay homeopathy? I think it fine to educate people about homeopathy and give guidance for simple problems or understanding about the principles. A difference to me.
The important thing here is that you do not tell people that you "trained under me" for so many years. This is the language you used in the email you sent. "Trained under me" means a much more intensive training and educational process than you listening to tapes or attending 4 seminars. Can you see the difference?
I am glad that you will not be saying this any further-
I quite realize that not all the veterinarians that have gone through my Professional Course follow my instruction. Of course, I do not have control over that. If you know of anyone in particular that is not practicing correctly, please let me know. I have no other way to find out. I will certainly not refer anyone that is not following the principles.
As for the A VH list, I have no connection with that. They put that together themselves and I had no input on that. If you look at my web site you will see that I say that their list is "self-selected".
Sincerely,
Dr. Pitcairn

Hi Marilyn-
Magda has been studying with us for 8 months. We think you should talk to her directly. The laws concerning Homeopathy vary from country to country and from state to state. You should check to see what your local laws are.

Dear Marilyn,
I am curious to know why you contacted Richard Pitcairn, but have a pretty good idea it
has something to do with your friendship with Maryann Nannochio. I am forwarding to you the message I received from Richard and my answer to him. I will be HAPPY to continue to forward to you any correspondence that may ensue between Richard and I. If you are interested in getting information from the owners of the dogs I have treated,
please, by all means, let me know. However, let me give you some advice I hope that your friendship with Maryann does not rub off too much on you and you end up making the same mistake she made years ago when she decided to bad mouth me. I won't
tolerate it and there will be a price to be paid by it.
